Linfield Team Camp will be June 15-18. This is our one team activity for the summer. We highly recommend that everyone attend if possible.  

 

Transportation: 

• We will be carpooling down. You may drive your player, or we can arrange a ride for him. • Older players are welcome to drive themselves andteammates. 

• Camp will be finished by 12:00 noon on the last day. If you cannot pick up your player at Linfield, please tell your Coach. What to Bring: 

• Complete football gear. 

• Sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, and air mattress/cot. There is no guarantee that you will get a mattress at the fieldhouse so bring one of your own. Extension cords come in handy to charge phones,etc. 

• Clothing (extra socks and underwear), swimsuit, flip-flops, towels/washcloth, toiletries, medications, powder/medicine for chafing/jock itch (it gets hot),sunblock. 

• Snacks/drinks to keep players going between meals (coolers are ok – some kids have even brought dorm fridges). Also bring some money. There is a convenience store within walking distance and a concession stand on campus. 

Find an older player to tell you where to put your gear. Generally, older players are against the walls and freshmen are in the middle. 

Other: 

• Parents are welcome to come down and watch. Scrimmages will be scheduled during camp. We do our best to communicate the times but usually don’t know them until late the night prior. Check with your player. 

• Closing ceremony is on the last day at 11:30am at the football stadium. We are finished bynoon. 

• The players are usually pretty hungry when you pick them up. You may want to bring something or plan on stopping for food on the way home.

Driving Directions: It takes about 45 minutes to get to Linfield College. These directions are to the Field House where the players will be staying. 

• Linfield College – Rutschman Field House o South on 99W o Left (west) on Hwy 18 o Take the Linfield College exit (towards 99W; Rice Furniture bldg is at the end of the exitramp) o Right on Booth Bend Rd. (it’s the first right) o Left on Davis St. (after Sue Buel Elementary) o Left on Linfield Ave. (after the practice field) 

▪ Park on the street or in the parking lot on your right. The field house is on yourleft. 

Housing

  • Your team is scheduled to stay in the fieldhouse.
  • Each player should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, clothing, football gear, and whatever else will make them comfortable during their stay.

Meals

  • Meals will be provided for this camp at the dining hall.
  • The first meal served at camp will be dinner on June 15th with the last meal being breakfast on June 18th. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions your players may have.
 

Registration  In order for players to attend, we need to receive a camp registration form from each player; this form can be completed online using our team’s individual website.  Utilize the site for forms, regardless if the player is making a payment online.   Our team website: REGISTER.  You must register on your own.
